Board Certification Eligible - Surgery - General

Job Details:

• Provide general surgery services with approximately 2-3 patient encounters per shift
• Adult surgery required, with preference for pediatric and neonate experience
• Colonoscopy skills required
• Umbilical hernia repair required
• Preferred skills include laparoscopic procedures (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty)
• Experience with breast surgery, head/neck surgery, and chest wall/pleural procedures preferred
• GI endoscopy experience (upper and lower) preferred
• OB/GYN surgical experience preferred (C-sections, D&C, hysterectomy)
• Trauma experience preferred
• Vascular surgery experience preferred for various procedures
• Ventilation management, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion preferred
• Must have active Tennessee medical license
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
