Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a valid TN or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent OR experience.

• Position is for the Operating Room (OR) in a hospital setting
• Day shift position with hours from 06:45 to 15:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care within the OR environment
• Must clock in and out using electronic timekeeping system
• Radius rule: candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Certifications cannot expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a lower pay rate

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Certifications must be valid for the duration of the assignment; BLS and ACLS required (RCIS or RQI certifications are not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates cannot be currently employed in a permanent position within the health system
