Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a well‑established, employee‑owned professional services firm to hire an Accounting Manager who will play a key role in leading day‑to‑day accounting operations and supporting continued growth. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting leader who enjoys managing a team, improving processes, and partnering with leadership in a collaborative, project‑based environment.

• Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and review
• Oversee project accounting, revenue recognition, and WIP
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Partner cross‑functionally with project managers and leadership to support financial decision‑making
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience (professional services or project‑based accounting a plus)
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month‑end close
• ERP and project accounting system experience
• CPA preferred, not required
