Job Summary

Classroom Instructor

Job Duties

Responsibilities include delivering course content, assessing student performance, and providing feedback to students.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or a related area.
  • Minimum of two (2) years as an Evidence Technician.

If you do not have a bachelor’s degree, you will need ALL of the following:

  • Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related area.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Certified Law Enforcement Professional.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years college-level teaching experience.

    Skills:

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Language

    Skills:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

    Skills:

    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers.
  • Mathematical

    Skills:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability:
    Ability to solve practical problems.
