Manager - Financial Reporting

Overview

Our Wayne County client has engaged us to identify a Financial Reporting Manager. The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for various types of analysis, including variance, cash flow, data, profitability and performance analysis. In addition, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for preparing both internal and external reporting, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and statutory reporting.

The Financial Reporting Manager will also be responsible for managing the chart of accounts and the general ledger.

• Perform variance, cash flow, data, profitability and performance analyses.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and statutory reporting.
• Manage the chart of accounts and the general ledger.

• 3 to 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least two years in public accounting.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; experience with real estate, financial services, legal, insurance, or similar industries preferred.
• Experience using a large ERP system (e.g., SAP or Net Suite) is required.
• Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, v/h/x lookups, and macros).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent major.
• CPA and/or MBA highly preferred.

Compensation:
Base salary for this position will range between $115,000 and $140,000, depending on skills and experience.
