Shift: PT 28 hours per week, day shift 7am-5pm a combination of 8- and 10-hour shifts with Saturday rotation

Livonia, MI 48152. Some hours may also be at Henry Ford Providence Hospital in Novi.

Provides mammography imaging services.

• Operates equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Explains procedures and educates patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensures prompt submission of high‑quality images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Ensures equipment is properly functioning and reports potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage and any other areas in the department.

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

• ARRT registered or board eligible in Mammography. 3‑5 years of experience preferred, proficient in screening and diagnostic examinations.
