Diagnostic Med Sonographer – Trinity Health MI
Join our remarkable care team as a sonographer in the Radiology-Ultrasound Department at Trinity Health MI.
Responsibilities- Under the direction of a Radiologist, perform sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail, using ultrasound for diagnosis.
- Complete exams of abdominal, pelvic, transvaginal, small parts, breast, and obstetric (OB 14 weeks).
- Assist in guidance of needle placement for breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy, liver biopsy, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and breast wire placement.
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound program or similar training to meet qualifications for registration.
- Required to have RDMS credentials and an updated BLS.
