EKG Technician – St. Joseph Mercy Health System

A remarkable opportunity to join our Noninvasive Cardiology Department.

Ensures the correct identification of the patient and works independently to prioritize orders according to established standards.

Performs standard 12‑lead electrocardiograms according to department protocol and independently augments leads as appropriate to ensure accurate diagnostic results.

Performs a variety of operational duties relative to completion of timely services including appropriate charging, charting results and data management.

Is responsible for the maintenance and care of electrocardiograph equipment and ensures optimal supplies.

Performs duties in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, core values and service excellence standards.

Shift: Weekend shift

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No licensure required
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred
• BCLS required
• CCT preferred
