Overview

Full Time Radiology Technologist - Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures, operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions, and generates diagnostically acceptable images for radiologist interpretation. Documents patient history and procedure reports, and maintains courtesy, professionalism, and confidentiality with patients, staff, and physicians.

• Perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts.
• Document patient history and prepare reports of procedures for radiologist review.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy in all interactions with patients, staff, and physicians.

• High school diploma or equivalent; satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BCLS required.
• Working knowledge of anatomy and principles of physics, electricity, and variations of anatomical postures.
