We are hiring Private Duty Caregivers in the surrounding area of Livonia, MI. Flexible 4–12-hour shifts, starting at $17.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities include:

• Use of transfer assistive devices, including Hoyer lifts, sit‑to‑stand, gait belts, and slide board.
• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and walking.
• Evaluating changes in client health and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping.
• Use and cleaning of devices such as catheters, colostomy bags, and oxygen supplies.
• Assessing condition changes and communicating immediately to supervisor.
• Developing and implementing meaningful life enrichment activities.
• Assisting with repositioning per schedule.
• Transporting clients to appointments or shopping.
• Completing all required documentation and charting.
• Planning, shopping for, and preparing nutritious meals.
• Providing companionship to clients.
• Following all Homestead policies and procedures.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Experience passing medications.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Travel up to 25 miles.
• Weekend availability.
