Homestead Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers and Med Techs to provide care to our residents in our Community in Livonia, MI
.

The Caregiver/Med Tech will assist residents with activities of daily living, medication administration, and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADL), specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians' orders and monitor and document residents' medication intake accurately.
• Assist residents with mobility challenges, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, which may include light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Provide regular updates on residents' well-being and any changes in their condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
