Position: System Administrator / Engineer (Direct Hire, On-Site)
Top Skills' Details Server Administration - 5-10 years of exp:
Handling build, support, administration, updating, etc. They have primarily a Windows environment, but pockets of a small amount of Linux, Redhat, Ubuntu machines

General troubleshooting and problem solving. They are hoping they can find someone that is strong with servers, but can also contribute to light networking, desktop administration.

NAS or Storage Solutioning:
Currently they are using Veeam as their tape to tape solution, but will be migrating to Net App to start 2027.Description Out customer is looking to add a Server Administrator to their team to be responsible for monitoring on prem & cloud based server environments. This position will be working on maintaining a healthy & secure Active Directory environment, including connecting workstations to the company network, and monitoring the network for any potential issues.

Responsibilities include:

Build, maintain, and support physical & virtual servers

Validate that corporate backups are executed weekly and can be restored

Troubleshoot issues as necessary

Develop & implement server maintenance standards & operating procedures

Manage, maintain, diagnose, and repair hardware/software within the server

Maintain a healthy & secure Active Directory environment Update documentation of the server environment, policies, and standards

Implement approved corporate security policies and procedures, escalate issues and compromises to management

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Livonia, MI.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
