Job Summary
The On-Call Assistant will report to the Director of Workforce Mentorship and Placement, and will support with general student and patron questions in the department. The assistant will support staff with tasks and projects as needed, answer phone-calls, emails, general questions, and support with reports as needed.
Job Duties
- Answer student and visitor questions.
- Answer emails and phone-calls to general questions.
- Support staff with tasks and projects, as assigned.
- Review data and track usage of resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer use.

This role may involve being in a stationary position in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse (or applicable equipment) and telephone. Communicating and exchanging information with individuals electronically or in person. This role may involve moving objects of up to 10 lbs., and on occasion, up to 25 lbs. - Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Salary $16/hour
Work Hours Up to 25 hours a week, some weekends may be required
