Property Manager

We are seeking a Property Manager for Deerfield Woods Apartments in Livonia, MI. Beacon Management provides career development opportunities, paid training for certifications, competitive paid holidays, and robust benefits.

• Oversee leasing, marketing, bookkeeping, customer service, resident retention and administrative responsibilities; supervise the maintenance staff.
• Develop, plan and implement the property budget to control financial performance.
• Handle record keeping and reporting responsibilities.
• Ensure timely rent collections, rent postings, bank deposits and laundry revenue collections.
• Timely handle late notices and evictions on delinquent rents as required; maintain a minimum collection rate of 95%.
• Monitor cost control procedures to ensure budget compliance.
• Oversee maintenance, customer service and resident relations; supervise vendor/contractor relations.
• Hire, train, and oversee the entire staff.
• Oversee new lease and lease renewal processes, including resident selection and approval.
• Oversee marketing outreach to include interactions with neighborhood groups and community organizations.

• At least 3 years of property management experience, including responsibility for financial and operational results, sales, marketing and staff supervision. Multi-Family Residential property management experience is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop rapport with residents and community staff.
