• Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow safety protocol
• Physical Demands:
  • Must wear and maintain company required Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to: FR pants/long-sleeve shirt, safety glasses, hard hat, safety-toe boots, hearing protection, and gloves
  • Physically able to perform the following job essential functions, inclusive of but not limited to: crouching, kneeling, bending, walking long distances, lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to 50 pounds, work at heights, continuous work in confined spaces, ascend/descend/work from: stairs/ladders/scaffolding.
  • Must have the ability to work continuously in an environment inclusive of but not limited to: dust, loud noise(s), walk on uneven or slippery surfaces, outdoors, heat/cold, poorly illuminated areas.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning supplies safely.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational competencies and attention to detail.
  • Manage priorities under pressure.
  • Previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization plant and facility-wide, including production units, shared areas, and storage spaces.
• Assist in cleaning production units as directed by the production team ensuring all equipment and surfaces are free from debris and contaminants.
• Perform common cleaning activities including Milling building cleaning, Dryer yard cleaning, cyclones, wet cake pad cleaning, drums/totes, triple rinsing/labeling/capping/inventory for disposal.
• Clean based on housekeeping assessments completed by the management team and self-led inspections.
• Assist Maintenance Department in cleanup and job set up.
• Support the Production Team with setting up maintenance activities such as assisting with lockout-tagout, flushing equipment, prepping equipment for maintenance, setting up equipment to place back in operation, and assisting with water treatment, as needed.
• Dispose of waste materials following plant policies and environmental regulations.
• Perform routine inspections of plant areas to identify and address housekeeping issues promptly.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with the Production Team to schedule and prioritize cleaning tasks to minimize disruption to production processes.
• Assist with pretreat operations, as needed, to include the belt press operation.
• Participate in painting projects during outages such as cleaning and painting guards and handrails.
• Operate the forklift to assist with moving materials and inspecting scaffolding.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the proper personnel for resolution.
• Support plant operations as needed, including assisting with material handling and other production tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
