Job Summary A & R Packing Co., Inc. is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers / Food Production Workers to join our team in Livonia, MI. This position works in a fast-paced food processing and packaging facility and is responsible for assisting with meat packaging, labeling, quality inspection, sanitation, and general production duties.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who are reliable, comfortable working in a refrigerated environment, and interested in steady production work. Previous experience is not required; training will be provided.

• Pack and label meat and food products according to company specifications.
• Load and unload products from production lines and workstations.
• Weigh, sort, inspect, and prepare products for packaging.
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Assist with meat processing and general food production duties.
• Operate basic hand tools and production equipment as trained.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and company procedures.
• Complete repetitive production tasks while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Properly dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors, line leads, and other production employees.
• Perform additional production and general labor duties as assigned.

• No previous experience required – training is provided.
• Previous food production, packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain good attendance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
• Bilingual English/Spanish

• Refrigerated food and meat processing facility.
• Position requires standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, packing, and repetitive movements.
• Exposure to raw meat and food products, cleaning and sanitation products, and production machinery.
