Job Overview

The Clinical Leader is a collaborative leader of the care team responsible for coordinating and facilitating the optimal provision of care through daily management of unit operations as prescribed by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. The Clinical Leader is accountable to practice in accordance with standards established by St Joseph Mercy Oakland leadership and external regulators and accreditation agencies.

The Clinical Leader actively promotes the SJMO Model of Care and nursing profession, fulfilling the SJMO Quality Plan for Nursing, and drives nursing practice through shared governance while abiding by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.

Trinity Health Livonia is a 304‑bed acute care hospital located in Livonia, MI, offering comprehensive services including emergency, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care, cardiology, geriatrics, and women’s health. Minimum Education, Licensure / Certification and Experience Required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
• Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization preferred
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for all inpatient bedside care areas, and inpatient and outpatient surgical services required within 45 days of hire or transfer
