About the Hospital

Trinity Health Livonia is a 304‑bed acute care hospital located in Livonia, MI. It offers comprehensive care including a 24‑hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, ICU, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics, birthing and women’s health. The 40‑bed Progressive Care Unit specializes in post‑operative care for a variety of surgical patients such as bariatric procedures, joint replacements, hip fractures, bowel obstructions, and cholecystitis.

Telemetry‑equipped, it provides continuous cardiac monitoring and the ability to manage cardiac drips.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to other health‑care team members through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred;
    Associates degree in Nursing required.
  • BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
  • BLS required.
  • Previous medical‑surgical experience preferred.
  • Computer proficient and excellent customer service skills.
