Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner master’s program that qualifies for certification status in Michigan.
  • Current license, certification, or registration in the State of Michigan.
  • PA certification (NCCPA)
  • NP certification (AGACNP or ACNP only)
Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Performing initial examinations and evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans.
  • Managing acute and chronic surgical conditions.
  • Monitoring treatment efficacy and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Performing bedside procedures as appropriate.
  • Collaborating closely with supervising surgeons and interdisciplinary teams.
