As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Teddy’s Landscape, you can expect a $25 per hour starting pay rate with the potential for career advancement. Accepted candidates will receive full benefits, paid holidays, year-round work with a full-time Monday through Friday schedule, and the opportunity for additional weekend work and several weeks of vacation time. • Exemplify self-reliance by helping grow the company and providing an environment to learn and advance
• Diagnose and repair an entire fleet of equipment, including small engine repairs on mowers, trucks, trailers, and more
• Maintain company trucks and equipment properly
• Be a responsible and detail-oriented team member by holding others accountable
• Participate in hands-on learning, adapt to change, and instruct others while maintaining a positive attitude
• Lift 50+ pounds regularly to build and maintain strength
• Stay up to date on licenses and knowledge, using company systems and apps to track clients and treatments
• Repair snow plows and related equipment for proper snow clearing

• 3+ years of mechanic experience, including with diesel engines and hydraulics
• Have your own tools
• Ability to drive and back up a truck and trailer
• Certifications (preferred)
• Landscape experience (preferred)
• Ability to speak and read English
• At least 18 years of age
