Ysgol Bro Dinefwr is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Teacher of Mathematics to join our dynamic Mathematics and Numeracy Area of Learning and Experience (AoLE). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and innovation of Mathematics education within a forward‑thinking school committed to the ethos of the Curriculum for Wales.

The successful candidate will play a key role in high‑quality teaching, ensuring progression, and contributing to curriculum delivery within the AoLE.

The teacher with responsibility will be able to:

  • Play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching that raises learner aspirations and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative curriculum, in partnership with AoLE Leaders.
  • Monitor learner progress effectively and use data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the wider ethos and life of the school, including events, parents’ evenings and whole‑school activities.
  • Undertake pastoral responsibilities as a Form Tutor, where required.

We are looking for a teacher who combines excellent classroom practice with a strong passion for Mathematics education. You will be able to support a shared vision for high‑quality learning, contribute positively to the work of the Mathematics and Numeracy AoLE, and play an active role in the wider life and ethos of the school. Welsh language skills are desirable, and bespoke training will be provided to support your development in line with our strategic aims should this be required.

The appointment will be made through a competency‑based interview and lesson observation.
