Position: Support Worker -  Adults with Learning Disabilities
Support Worker - Residential Care for Adults with Learning Disabilities – Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities? We are seeking caring and dedicated Support Workers to join a residential service located in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that offers a rewarding career in social care.

The Support Worker role in this organisation involves supporting adults aged 18 to 65 with learning disabilities and complex needs. No two days are the same, and staff have the chance to participate in engaging activities such as arts and crafts, gardening, day trips, cycling, and outings to the zoo or the cinema. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a lively environment and have a genuine desire to support others in leading happy and independent lives.

Key responsibilities include:

* Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices

* Ensuring the safety and well-being of all service users

* Following personalised care plans for each individual

* Supporting service users during community outings and activities

* Providing varying levels of personal care

Candidate Requirements:

* No previous experience necessary, full training provided

* Resilience and a caring nature

* Drivers with a valid licence are essential

* Willingness to do personal care

What’s on offer:

* Salary from £25,552.80 to £31,327.20 (based on six sleep-in shifts per month)

* Full-time hours of 39 hours per week

* Shifts available during days or nights
