This role would suit a Graduate, Trainee or Junior Field Service Engineer or similar looking for a technically varied career with extensive training, international travel and genuine long-term development opportunities.
In this role, the successful Graduate, Trainee or Junior Field Service Engineer or similar will prepare and test specialist logging equipment before mobilisation, travel to customer sites both across the UK and internationally, deploy electronic borehole logging equipment, collect and process geophysical data, and produce technical reports while working closely with experienced engineers on offshore and onshore projects.
The Role:- Preparing, testing and mobilising specialist borehole logging equipment for UK and worldwide projects
- Carrying out borehole logging, processing geophysical data and producing technical reports
- Receiving extensive technical training while travelling internationally to support offshore and onshore engineering projects
- Graduate, Junior or Trainee Field Service Engineer, or similar
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Geoscience, Physics, a background in Ground investigation or a related discipline
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy to travel internationally and work away from home for extended periods
