AV Technician Hotels; Entertainment | Season

Live Business is hiring Audio-Visual Technicians (sound, lighting, and video) to work in top hotels across the United Kingdom during the 2026 season.

• Set up and operate sound, lighting, and video equipment for live shows and cabarets
• Build and update QLab sessions; download and organise show content
• Support resident cast and visiting acts during rehearsals and performances
• Carry out soundchecks and ensure smooth technical delivery
• Keep all technical areas clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Assist with basic training in sound, light, and QLab for team members
• Report technical faults or broken equipment to the relevant team

• Basic experience in sound and lighting operations
• Familiarity with QLab (or willingness to learn – training provided)
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
• Self-employed status is required
• Based in or able to work in the UK legally

• Contracts run for 10–11 months
  , starting in March 2026
• A mandatory training course will take place from 23rdto 28th February 2026in Blackpool. Includes room from the 22nd, from 3 p.m. and food. Training fee: £275 gross.
• Package includes:
• £1,680 gross per month
• Single room basis in the hotel
• Breakfast and dinner included

This is a live-in role
, working mainly in the evenings at a single main venue, supporting live shows and visiting acts.
