Role SummaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Band 6 Orthopaedic Occupational Therapist to join the Central Area Occupational Therapy Team. You will be working predominately in elective services in the new Orthopaedic ward in Llandudno Hospital. At times there may be a need to provide clinical cover to the orthopaedic trauma service in Glan Clwyd Hospital. This post is 23.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities- The role requires the successful applicant to work flexibly across sites dependent on service needs.
- Responsible for some of the day‑to‑day management and supervision of junior staff within the department.
- Provide formal supervision and completion of annual appraisals with junior staff.
- Contribute to the wider Occupational Therapy service, including audits, service developments and attending meetings.
- Support hospital flow and ensure person‑centred care is delivered in a timely manner.
- Provide clinical cover to orthopaedic trauma services as required.
- Band 6 Orthopaedic Occupational Therapist.
- Significant experience of working within orthopaedic services is essential.
- Excellent organisation and time‑management skills.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable;
