OverviewAs a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner, you will work as part of the Conwy CAMHS Team, carrying out SPoA Assessments and Choice and Partnership work under the Care and Programme Approach (CAPA) model. You will also be involved in different areas of CAMHS according to the needs of the service, providing assessment, intervention and evidence‑based therapies to children and young people with mental health problems and significant mental health disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct SPoA assessments and deliver CAPA work for children and young people.
- Provide assessment and intervention and/or specific evidence‑based therapies to children and young people with mental health problems.
- Offer consultation and support to front‑line professionals in understanding and supporting children/young people and families, including training, advice and direction.
- Deliver early intervention programmes and support emotional wellbeing within the service.
- Healthcare professional, accredited therapist or social worker with experience supporting emotional wellbeing.
- Skilled in mental health assessment, risk assessment and delivering interventions to support emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Experience working within children and young people is advantageous.
- Welsh language ability desirable;
