Theatre Team Leader

Job summary

The purpose of this post is to provide clinical and managerial support in the development, implementation and co-ordination of high quality patient care within the theatre department and associated areas.

The post holder will have responsibility for a team, and as a proactive Team Leader - using effective communication skills
-to be actively involved in changing care plans and goals according to evaluation and review.

Theatre experience essential.

Main duties of the jobLead a team Theatres ensuring safe and effective care.

Responsible for staff development and effective use of resources.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

EssentialNMC/HCPC registration

Extensive experience in theatre clinical practice

Teaching and assessing qualification

Practice supervisor/assessor course

Understanding of Nat Ssips and Loc Ssips relating to theatre

Desirable

Degree in relevant clinical/ professional topic

Postgraduate study at masters levelALS/PLSPost graduate management qualification

Experience
