We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and organisation of our premises.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital environments.

This role offers an opportunity to lead a team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation across our facilities.

The Head Housekeeper will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a professional and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning team to ensure all areas meet organisational standards.

Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the facility.

Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.

Train new staff members on cleaning protocols, health and safety policies, and organisational procedures.

Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.

Liaise with management to address any issues related to cleanliness or safety concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, training sessions, and inspection reports.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations, particularly within hospital or healthcare settings.

Experience Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is essential.

Previous experience working within a hospital environment is highly desirable.

Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing a team of cleaning staff.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations in healthcare or commercial settings.

Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear instructions and feedback to team members.
