Wild Horse Brewing Co is an independent, growing business based in the seaside town of Llandudno on the North Wales coast. Now in our eleventh year, our focus is on producing high quality, modern craft beer for drinkers across Wales, North West England and beyond.
We are currently looking for a Taproom Supervisor to join our team at our taproom space next to our established brewery in Llandudno. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take on a supervisory role within a growing independent business and help us deliver a standout, beer-centric experience for our customers.
The successful candidate will be a confident, hands-on supervisor with a passion for great beer and great service. You’ll enjoy working with people, leading by example on the bar, and supporting the Taproom Manager in maintaining high standards across customer experience, team support, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities- Delivering outstanding customer service, serving draught beers and other drinks to the highest standards
- Acting as duty supervisor during assigned shifts, including opening and closing the taproom when required
- Creating a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and ensuring customers have a consistently great experience
- Operating our till system and entering orders accurately
- Promoting craft beer, local producers, and the Wild Horse brand
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the taproom
- Maintaining the cellar to a high standard and ensuring the bar is organised and fridges are well stocked
- Supporting the Taproom Manager with basic administrative and bar management tasks
- Creating and reposting social media stories when on shift and responding to basic customer queries
- Assisting with the running of taproom events, with opportunities for paid overtime (e.g. private hire events)
- Carrying out other taproom housekeeping and duties as required
- The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least one year of previous supervisory experience, preferably in hospitality or similar job role
- Have exceptional customer service and people skills
- Demonstrate a genuine interest and passion for great local producers and independent brands
- Take an organised, structured approach to work with strong attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills and approach work with honesty and integrity
- Be able to multi-task and manage the challenges of a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Be IT literate and quick to learn in-house software systems
- Have a positive, proactive attitude towards work
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
Other ‘nice to haves’ include:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. bar management, cellar management, personal license, cicerone, etc.)
- An interest in learning to deliver brewery tours and sharing the Wild Horse story with customers
- Experience managing business social media accounts
- An interest in photography or videography
- An interest in the creative side of craft beer, including contributing new beer ideas and label artwork concepts
- The ability to communicate in Welsh

Working hours- 33 hours per week
- Shifts primarily Thursday to Saturday, typically between 11:00am and 10:30pm
- Additional hours may be available for events
- £13.75 per hour
- Full-time equivalent of 5.6 weeks (28 days) holiday including bank holidays, increasing with length of service
