Kitchen Porter

The Imperial Hotel is looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy and friendly kitchen team. This is a vital role at the heart of our operation, helping to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while supporting our chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

• Washing and cleaning pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensuring cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Keeping food preparation areas clean, tidy, and ready for service.
• Assisting with the receipt and storage of food and equipment deliveries.
• Maintaining an organised and well-stocked storeroom.
• Cleaning and sanitising work surfaces, walls, floors, and kitchen service areas.
• Supporting the kitchen management team in adhering to all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Helping to create a safe, clean, and productive working environment for the entire kitchen team.

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided.
