Freelance Product Designer

Overview

Join an exciting project focused on developing a travel planning mobile app, where you will play a key role in shaping the MVP’s design and visual brand identity. This opportunity is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented product designer with a strong background in mobile app design. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to refine the user interface, enhance usability, and establish a cohesive visual language that resonates with travelers.

The position is remote, and there is potential for additional work following the initial engagement.

• Refine and enhance the existing mobile app user interface to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience
• Develop and implement a compelling visual brand identity for the app, including color schemes, typography, and iconography
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals and user needs into effective design solutions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for key app screens and user flows
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and analytics
• Ensure design consistency across all app components and maintain up-to-date design documentation
• Communicate design rationale and present concepts to the team for review and approval

• Proven experience in mobile product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing app UI/UX and branding projects
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
• Strong visual design skills, including layout, color, and typography
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines in a remote setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in the travel or lifestyle sector is a plus
• Availability to start promptly and commit to the project’s timeline
