We are seeking a patient, nurturing and inclusive ALN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Llanelli. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils with Additional Learning Needs thrive both academically and emotionally.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will:
Support pupils with a range of ALN and behavioural needs
Provide one-to-one and small-group support
Help create an inclusive, caring and positive learning environment
Work closely with teachers and wider staff to promote pupil progress
Encourage emotional regulation, independence and confidence
You don’t need prior school experience — we welcome candidates with transferable skills from roles such as:
Carers / Support Workers
Youth Workers
Nurses / Healthcare Assistants
Childminders / Early Years Practitioners
Social Workers
Behaviour support roles
Any role supporting vulnerable individuals
We are looking for someone who is:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
