Overview

Teaching Assistant - Llanelli

Part-time & Full-time roles available with immediate and ongoing start dates. This role supports pupils by providing extra guidance, motivation, and engagement to help make learning positive, achievable, and fun.

Who this role suits

  • Childcare
  • Care or Support Work – Adults or Children

Childcare / Care qualifications (Level 2 or
3) are highly desirable, but attitude and enthusiasm matter just as much.

What you’ll actually be doing
  • Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
  • Helping pupils stay engaged, regulated, and motivated
  • Using creativity, movement, and positivity to support learning
  • Balancing fun with structure
  • Supporting children with emotional, behavioural, or learning needs
  • Being a calm, encouraging presence in the classroom
  • Hit the ground running, build rapport quickly, and help take strain off the class teacher

  • Experience with ALN is highly valued

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
