College Services Coordinator

We are currently looking for a College Services Coordinator to join our dynamic and busy team at Birmingham City University International College. This is your chance to be at the forefront of student support and administrative excellence, working in a lively and rewarding environment.

Hours of Work: full time - 37.5 hours per week

The College Services Coordinator will play a vital role within our College Services Team, overseeing key aspects of the student life cycle while providing outstanding support and ensuring the smooth running of college operations. You will collaborate closely with managers, finance teams, and academic staff to enhance the student experience, manage fee payments, refunds, and financial accounts, and foster positive relationships with students and stakeholders alike.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate student finance activities including debt recovery and payment plans
  • Support onboarding processes for new staff members
  • Organise student registration
  • Contribute actively to student-centred events and activities
  • Maintain accurate student records
  • Support safeguarding and safety procedures
  • Work to continually improve services through effective use of technology and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience in Higher Education or a related field
  • Strong administrative and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of student lifecycle and finance processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
