Salary: £90-95 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Supply / Temporary

We are currently recruiting, compassionate and dedicated ALN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) across primary schools in Llanelli.

About the Role:

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, supporting both their academic progress and emotional wellbeing. You may work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs

* Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities

* Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

* Help implement individual education plans and support strategies

* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

Requirements

* A caring and patient approach when working with children

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs

* Experience working with children or young people (preferred)

* Right to work in the UK

Desirable

* Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN or SEN

* Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, psychology, or support work

* Experience working with pupils with autism, ADHD, or behavioural needs
