We're seeking compassionate, resilient and motivated Behaviour Support Mentors to join a specialist educational provision in Carmarthen, supporting young people with:
SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs)
ALN (Additional Learning Needs)
Behavioural Challenges
Autism & ADHD
Many of the pupils in our care have experienced significant barriers to learning. They need patient, consistent and positive role models who can help them develop confidence, resilience and the skills needed to achieve success both in and beyond the classroom.

What You'll Be DoingAs a Behaviour Support Mentor, you'll play a key role in helping pupils engage in education and achieve positive outcomes.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils during lessons and learning activities
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping young people regulate emotions and develop positive coping strategies
- Supporting outdoor learning, enrichment and practical activities
- Accompanying pupils on educational visits and off-site activities
- Supporting community-based learning and life-skills development
- Encouraging independence, communication and social development
- Working closely with teachers, support staff and external agencies
- Recording observations and contributing to pupil progress and wellbeing plans
