The Headteacher and Governors of our school are looking for an energetic, forward thinking and dynamic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Ysgol Bryn Teg. If you can offer our learners a positive and engaging learning experience then we would love to hear from you. Experience of working with ALN pupils would be beneficial. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class Teacher to support the learning and development of students, providing one-on-one assistance as well as group support.
We will expect you to:
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation.
- Provide support to students during lessons and activities.
- Help to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress.
- Provide feedback to Teachers and parents.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
