Public Affairs & Policy Advisor

The role:

To create and implement successful impactful influencing strategies through advocacy, policy and research activities to deliver change.

To build and maintain relationships with key public policy decision-makers in Westminster & Whitehall as well as with partners sharing similar goals.

To develop policy which provides the basis of the influencing and to commission research which underpins the policy positions taken by the campaign

The candidate:

Demonstrable experience of leading advocacy and policy strategies within a charity or similar organisation resulting in positive change in public policy.

Experience of building and maintaining relationships with key governmental and political stakeholders based on expert understanding of the UK’s policy processes

Proven ability to produce strong policy positions that are based on powerful evidence. Gleaned from experience of using various sources including from those affected by the issues and in a UK political context
