Position: Assistant Manager Non-Specialist Services
Job Location: Croft, SA15 2TR
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 Hours per week
Base Salary: £30,000 Per Annum
Essentials: The ability to drive is essential for this post.
Qualifications: QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care and experience in leading a team (or level 3 or 4 and working towards Level 5 with good previous management experience)

As Assistant Care Manager, you will support the Registered Manager and lead a dedicated care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will work closely with the service manager and play a key role in staff development, service delivery, and maintaining care standards.
Role and Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in daily operations and lead in their absence
- Supervise and develop care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with care standards
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for individuals with complex needs
- Foster strong relationships with staff, supported individuals, and professionals
- Oversee Specialist Support Managers and Senior Support Workers
Experience:
Proven experience in care is essential. Demonstrate experience in residential care and managing challenging behaviours. Strong leadership, communication and IT skills are also key to this role.
