Wellbeing Support Worker

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Well‑being Support Worker to join the team at Oak Tree House RG30 and Cedar Court RG2.

Oak Tree House RG30 – 60 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents aged 55 and over retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.

Cedar Court RG2 – 40 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents aged 55 and over retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.

Our Support Workers strive to help people we support retain as much independence as possible. The role is on-site 24/7, tailoring support to each person’s needs within the comfort and privacy of their own flat. It ranges from daily assistance to round‑the‑clock support.

• Arrange and support a variety of activities.
• Complete well‑being checks with residents.
• Support residents in learning new skills such as online shopping and key computer skills.
• Find new ways to engage with local organisations and signpost residents to services such as Age UK.
• Provide personal care when responding to emergency calls.

Shift patterns: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, 5 days a week, including alternate weekends.
