Junior Sister​/Charge Nurse Cancer Unit

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate sound knowledge in Oncology and Haematology, be competent in administration of Systemic Anti Cancer Treatment and should be expert in cannulation and venepuncture We are looking for an experienced nurse with management and leadership skills, who can be adaptative, work autonomously and demonstrate excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills. Opportunities for learning at masters level, including non-medical prescribing, will be available to the successful applicants.

The successful candidate should be prepared to work across the Health Board if required and have a flexible approach to the needs of the service. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;

• 47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
