City Sprint has an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner.

As a HR Business Partner, you will be a senior HR professional responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. Acting as a trusted advisor, the post holder will partner with functional leaders to implement the People Strategy through tailored functional people plans. This role is pivotal in driving organisational performance, fostering an inclusive culture, and enabling the growth and development of our people.

Main

responsibilities within the HR Business Partner role
  • Build strong, influential relationships with senior leaders and managers to provide expert HR guidance and challenge where appropriate.
  • Translate the overarching People Strategy into functional people plans with clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching on all aspects of people management, including complex employee relations cases and formal processes (e.g., grievance, disciplinary).
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (Talent, Learning & Development, Reward) and other functional teams to deliver integratedhook people solutions.
  • Analyse and interpret people data to identify trends and inform decision-making, including absence, turnover, and engagement metrics.
  • Support the design and delivery of learning and development interventions to enhance organisational capability.
  • Drive key people processes such as performance management, engagement activities, and organisational change initiatives.
  • Champion colleague engagement, ensuring action plans are developed and implemented based on survey feedback.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively.
  • Data‑driven approach with the ability to interpret, analyse, and present people metrics to inform decisions.
  • Ability to translate HR strategy into actionable, measurable plans that drive business performance.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.

    Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role, partnering with senior leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience in leading change management initiatives across complex organisations.|,
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
