A fast‑moving startup is looking for a Data Engineer to help build and scale the data foundations that power our product and analytics capabilities. You’ll work across modern data pipelines, real‑time processing, and cloud infrastructure, shaping how data flows through the organisation as we continue to grow.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop and optimise data models that support analytics, product insights, and core platform features.
• Work with engineers and product teams to integrate new data sources and ensure high data quality.
• Implement best practices for data reliability, observability, and governance.
• Manage cloud‑based data infrastructure and automate deployment workflows.
• Improve performance, scalability, and security across the data stack.

• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and pipeline orchestration.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, product‑driven environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.

• Experience in a startup or scale‑up environment.
• Familiarity with real‑time data processing and streaming architectures.
• Knowledge of modern BI/analytics tools.
• Interest in shaping data strategy and influencing technical direction.
