Coleg Gwent's Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone campus is recruiting a Campus Facilities Operative for 37 hours a week. The job is to keep the campus and its facilities well maintained and the site safe, secure, clean and welcoming, with maintenance and compliance built into daily running. Basic Welsh is desirable, but Welsh-language applications are treated equally. Appointment depends on an Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration, which the candidate pays for.
Whatthe job involves
- Maintain the campus and its associated facilities to a high standard
- Keep the campus safe, secure, clean and welcoming for all users
- Support the day-to-day operation of the campus, including maintenance and compliance
- EWC registration
- Enhanced DBS check
- Basic ability in Welsh, or willingness to train
