Marketing Partnerships Executive - Function: Marketing
- Location: UK (with travel across UK and Middle East as required)
- Reporting To: Alex Lowe (CMO)
This is a fast-paced startup role with ambitious growth targets and meaningful equity upside, but it demands comfort with ambiguity and rapid change. If you're looking for a stable corporate partnerships role with established systems and processes, this won't be the right fit. You'll manage and scale our partner network from the ground up—building the systems, processes, and relationships that define how we engage with the cricket ecosystem.

MISSION OF ROLEMarketing partnerships at Kabuni are a core part of how we grow adoption, drive community engagement, and build credibility across the cricket ecosystem.
The Marketing Partnerships Executive is responsible for managing and growing Kabuni's existing partnerships across the UK and Middle East, spanning:
- Professional cricket clubs
- Amateur and grassroots clubs
- Cricket leagues
- Schools and education partners
- Training academies and coaching networks
- Professional athletes and emerging talent
- Additional growing partnership categories as Kabuni expands
The role also exists to oversee and optimise the use of partner inventory, ensuring Kabuni maximises agreed marketing opportunities to drive awareness, participation and measurable growth.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & COMPETENCIES Functional accountabilitiesThis section outlines the core responsibilities of the role and the outcomes you'll help bring to life.
Manage & grow existing partnerships (UK & Middle East)- Own day-to-day relationship management across Kabuni's partner network in the UK and Middle East.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across a range of partner types, including:
- Club owners and administrators
- Head coaches and academy directors
- League leadership and organisers
- School sports staff and decision makers
- Professional players, agents and athlete teams
- Strengthen engagement through regular check-ins, activation planning, and proactive support.
- Identify and deliver opportunities to deepen existing partnerships via:
- Co-branded campaigns
- Community events and clinic activations
- Social and content collaborations
- Referrals and member acquisition initiatives
- Support retention and renewal by proving value and improving partner outcomes over time.
- Manage and optimise Kabuni's partner inventory usage across both regions (e.g. placements, member comms, exposure at events, digital surfaces, athlete reach).
- Maintain structured tracking of:
- Inventory availability and expiry windows
- Usage plans and scheduling
- Creative/asset requirements
- Delivery timelines and outcomes
- Ensure inventory is used strategically against Kabuni priorities — not used reactively or wasted through lack of planning.
- Coordinate internally to ensure Kabuni consistently delivers strong partner-ready campaigns and assets.
- Report on inventory utilisation and recommend improvements to increase ROI and performance.
- Translate partner relationships into meaningful marketing outputs that drive:
- Awareness and trust
- User acquisition
- Community participation
- Content reach and engagement
