As a Store Assistant at ASDA, your primary role is to support daily store operations including stocking, customer service, and maintaining clean, organized aisles. This is a customer-facing role and requires a friendly, proactive, and reliable attitude.

• Replenish shelves and ensure products are always available
• Assist customers with queries, product locations, or recommendations
• Operate checkout tills and self-service stations efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards in store areas
• Rotate stock to reduce waste and ensure product freshness
• Support store teams during promotions, events, and peak hours
• Report any issues to supervisors or management promptly

• Minimum age: 18 years (due to late shifts and operating equipment)
• No formal education required – training is provided
• Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and shifts (early morning/late night)
• Physically fit – may involve standing for long periods or lifting products

• £11.11 to £12.50 per hour depending on location and experience
