The RoleAs a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a technical expert for our product suite, collaborating with sales teams across Europe to deliver tailored solutions. You’ll lead technical discoveries, product demonstrations, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and provide expert advice to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, aligning our tools to customer pain points.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll develop sales support materials, contribute to cross‑functional initiatives, and stay informed on industry trends. Your background in finance and/or pre‑sales, combined with strong English communication skills, will enable you to thrive in this dynamic position.
What You’ll Do- Customer Discovery and Consultation:
Conduct in‑depth discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and business objectives, providing tailored solutions. - Technical Demonstrations:
Deliver compelling technical demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Lucanet’s solutions. - Sales Acumen:
Support sales teams and drive technical wins, including storytelling, active listening, value selling, copywriting, and pipeline management. - Mentorship:
Mentor and guide junior Solution Consultants, sharing best practices and technical knowledge. - Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders effectively. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends and Lucanet product developments to enhance the quality of solutions. - Feedback Loop:
Provide feedback to product development teams and other stakeholders based on customer interactions to influence future product enhancements.
- A background in finance, accounting, or tax with expertise in financial reporting, planning, taxation, or group accounting.
- Experience in sales engineering or technical pre‑sales, ideally within SaaS or Fin Tech, and strong value‑selling experience.
- Proficiency with CRMs and sales tools; familiarity with Lucanet’s product suite is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills to engage stakeholders across the UK and internationally.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills to deliver innovative solutions tailored to customer challenges.
