Do you want to make a difference to households in housing need?
We are looking for an extremely motivated and resiliant individual to join our Housing Solutions Team to help prevent and relieve homelessness in Conwy.
You will be the frontline professional delivering a first class, modern and flexible service to some of the most vulnerable people in the County.
You will work as part of a team of Housing Support Assistants to be the first point of contract for people experiencing homelessness or in housing need.
This could be in person or over the phone.
We are looking for someone who wants to help people and provide assistance to them to get the help they need to resovle their Housing problem.
You will work closely with the Housing Solutions Assessment Officers and Duty to ensure appropriate triaging, sign posting and data inputting of new cases to support the service.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Housing Solutions service in Conwy.
We have recently restructured as we move forward with our Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan, aiming to make homelessness rare, brief and unrepeated in the County.
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who want to get the very best outcomes for residents of the County.

Housing Solutions is a fast paced frontline team and the ability to be flexible, prioritise work and be a team player is the key to success in this role.
Within the team you will feel supported by your committed and highly motivated colleagues.
There is also a dedicated team of experienced, supportive and readily available managers.
The management support will be available through regular formal supervision and informal daily check-ins.
You will have the opportunity of working flexibly from both home and the state of the art ‘Coed Pella’ office in Colwyn Bay, which allows you to be in contact with partner departments including Social Care, Youth Justice, Education, Youth Services and many others.
