Forklift/yard operative

Hours:

6am – 4pm Mon – Fri (Saturday overtime in peak season)

Salary: £30,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year

You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the yard, safely moving stock and preparing customer and delivery orders.

• Operating counterbalance forklift or telehandler
• Loading and unloading turf, stone, and landscaping products
• Picking and preparing orders for collection and delivery
• Manual handling of heavy materials (turf rolls, slabs, bulk bags)
• Stock organisation and yard housekeeping
• Checking orders against delivery notes for accuracy
• Supporting customers and drivers on site
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

• Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance or Telehandler) – essential
• Previous yard, warehouse, or outdoor environment experience
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Reliable, punctual and team-focused
• Good health & safety awareness
• Flexible to work Saturday mornings
