Engagement Officer Lifelong Learning and Libraries

Overview

To assist in the development and delivery of Adult Community Learning opportunities in venues across Anglesey. Engage with communities to promote the work of the Library Service

• To plan, organise and deliver Digital Inclusion and Information Literacy training for members of the public and staff and to promote the use of the Service's Digital platforms.
• To maintain good relations with partners across the geographical area and represent the Authority in relevant meetings at an operational level.
• To be responsible for the day - to - day organisation of courses and activities at various locations in accordance with the needs of the Service and in response to learner need.
• To liaise with community groups and third sector organisations and keep informed about potential need/desire for courses and informal learning in communities around Anglesey.
• To ensure the Library Service's place at the heart of the community, increasing awareness of libraries as welcoming spaces that support learning, access to information and community connection and wellbeing.

Salary: 19014.00 - 20960.00 GBP per Year
